Exploring additional experimental fields in the metal style, Flynet assembled in 1997 in Manchester, NH, with adam fithian (vocals), Dan Saunders (guitar), Jason Luscher (bass), and Brian Miller (drums). Expanding their raging sounds beyond untamed marks of alternative, the team started gathering a considerable fan base from the very start of their operations. After more than a year during which they tried out their themes on countless live shows, Flynet recorded their first disc, an eight-song self-titled demo. Achieving considerable acclaim amongst the media and public, the band was then invited to participate on the compilation Tribute Of The Year - A Tribute To Faith No More, a tribute disc to Faith No More. During the years that followed, the group solidified their notoriety, before suffering the first lineup change in August 2001, when longtime vocalist Fithian left due to several disagreements with the rest of the crew. He was replaced by James Most later that year. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, Rovi
