The project was born in October 2002 as the parody punk rock group featuring Vargas and Ilya "Silver_Fox" Kutsev. Later Ilya left the group and its style was changed to crossover between hardcore punk and swedish-like death metal. Then, in June 2003, the style was changed to intense crust hardcore and in July 2003 Fatal Injection ceased to exist. It was reformed in 2004 as electro-industrial crossover band featuring Georgiy "Geo" Yaroslavtsev. Then, in 2005, Geo left the group and the project went to more experimental direction, including ambient and dub-inspired music.
