Empty Crush Was founded around 2006 by singer/songwriter and drummer Phillip Calfy. The first band member he recruited was drummer Mike Finucain. Phil and Mike recruited several different musicians where they recorded a couple of albums with very well known artist as well as playing many different shows and had a sponsorship with Jagermeister. Empty Crush seemed to be going somewhere but things never worked out with the guys in the band. in early 2010 Phil and the boys called it quits. In late 2010 Phil handed over the the Empty Crush name to his brothers and ex Autum Shine band mates Scott Calfy/Singer, Steve Calfy/Bass and David Smith/Lead Guitar. Giving Empty Crush and Autum Shine a chance to rekindle there music. After several auditions the boys in Empty Crush hired long time friend and rhythm guitar player Jake Barkman/Rhythm. As of right now Singer Phil Calfy is filling in on drums.Empty Crush is in the process of recording and finishing there first album with Mike Finucain (ex Empty Crush drummer) and this new line up. Empty Crush band mates have roots stemming from Seattle, L.a., Texas and Chicago. The current line up is now residing in Oklahoma City and working on building up there fan base playing shows whenever and where ever they can. Our musical influence range from a variety of genre from rock/metal, blues and grunge. Our first C.D.
