6) Polish Rock band from Krakow. --- 1) Deus Ex Machina were formed in 1989 in Athens, Greece by Dimitris Spyropoulos and Dimitris Manthos. Spyropoulos and drummer Yiannis Venardis were veterans of the local punk scene of the early 80s. The band eventually gained the overwhelming acceptance of the alternative crowds.
