Shawn Allison Dead Branches are a top-notch Instrumental Hard-Rock/Sludge/Stoner Metal influenced by Thin Lizzy, Baroness and Mastodon. Dead Branches is a hard-rocking kick-ass rock band and of the best instrumental rock bands I have had the pleasure to hear this year (2012). Especially when influenced by three of my fave bands - Baroness, Thin Lizzy and Mastodon.
