David Barbe, songwriter/singer/bass player issued his first solo release 'Comet of the Season' in 2001. He is a long time fixture in the Athens, Georgia rock scene. Having fronted punk act Mercyland in the '80s & and the more low-fi Buzz Hungry during the '90s. He is also known for his turn in Sugar, the early '90s rock act also featuring Bob Mould (ex-Husker Du). Where he contributed a few handful of tracks as well, including 'Company Book' from their File Under: Easy Listening CD, and a handful of tracks relegated to b-sides.
