Like many musicians from the Long Island, New York music scene, Kevin Conkle (guitars, vocals) and Bill Jablonsky (keyboards, vocals) started out in various cover bands around the area before pursuing their own original projects. Their first all-original lineup was the female-fronted "Sudden Earth", a power pop/rock project that was active in local clubs and music festivals, and although critically acclaimed by their local media, they - and their 5 song EP - were virtually unknown outside of the New York Metro area.
