DJ Romes emerged from Oxnard CA, 805, out of the same hip hop high school that brought us Wildchild and Madlib. Some time around graduation, Romes found himself a job doing the cuts for Lootpack . Romes claims to have never killed a man.

Romes has two break-beat albums on Stones Throw: Rhythm Trax Vol. 2, and Hamburger Hater Breaks. Don't let the title fool you - Romes loves hamburgers.
