Cris Christy was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. He grew up under the heavy influence of music, church, and poetry. His mother, who was the church choir leader and organist, nurtured his singing and music talents throughout his childhood and teenage years. The voice that Cris has can only be called a blessing. It's because of this blessing that Cris has garnered national attention on the island of Jamaica. After touring the island and performing for several years, Cris decided to visit the United States in late 2008. From the moment he landed, Cris has been busy continuing his music career. He has performed in many different churches, schools, concerts, and talent shows. The pivotal moment for Cris however, came when he was introduced to Sosa, the owner of MVB Entertainment. After listening to a demo Cris had been working on, Sosa was pleasantly surprised that he had been listening to Gospel music and did not realize it. Since then, Cris has been hard at work writing and producing several music projects, all to be released on MVB Records. Cris Christy is one of the best male vocalists of our time, and his music speaks to his talent.
