Original, quirky music fusing vocals and piano with soaring strings, brass and driving rhythms. Coraline is an acoustic/jazz collective from London and Manchester. The band members are: Rae Evans (vocals and piano), Sarah Mayo (violin), Joel Roberts (bass) and Leon Scott (drums). Background In 2007, Songwriter Rae Evans played her solo material to violinist Sarah Mayo and they formed a duo based on a love of story-telling, genre-pushing music. In June they won the EXR Manchester acoustic competition and enlisted the talents of Joel Roberts and Leon Scott to form the core of Coraline.
