Instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer Celso Fonseca was born November 15, 1956 in Rio de Janeiro and did start to play his first guitar chords at age 12. Fonseca openly confessed that it was Baden Powell’s music that led him to play. At age 19 he quit the journalist classes at university, decided to study music seriously, took up the guitarrist career and joined Gilberto Gil’s band.

Celso has played as a sideman and recorded with the greatest artists from Brazilian Music,such as: Milton Nascimento, Djavan, Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa, Chico Buarque de Holanda, Marisa Monte, Bebel Gilberto, João Bosco, Jorge Ben jor, Elza Soares, Adriana Calcanhotto, Virginia Rodrigues, Vinicius Cantuaria, among many others.

He took more than twenty international tours in countless festivals in Europe, USA, Canada and Japan.

Born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Ronaldo Bastos began his professional career in 1967.

He composed more then two hundred songs, in partnership with Milton Nascimento (as “Cravo e Canela”, “Fé Cega, Faca Amolada”, “Cais”), Antonio Carlos Jobim (some of the songs of the soundtrack to the TV series “O Tempo e o Vento”), Paulo Jobim (“Maria é Dia”), Edu Lobo (“Zanga, Zangada”), Caetano Veloso/João Donato (“Naquela Estação”), Beto Guedes (as “Sol de Primavera”, “Amor de Índio”, “Lumiar”, “Canção do Novo Mundo”) , Lô Borges (as “O Trem Azul”, “Sonho Real”), Toninho Horta (as “Bons Amigos”, ” , Flávio Venturini (“Todo Azul Do Mar”, “Princesa”), Johnny Alf (“Olhos Negros”), Ed Motta (“Falso Milagre Do Amor”, “Dias De Paz”, “Vendaval”), among many others.
