Canon Law was a 5 (sometimes 7 with the back-up dancers-live) piece Electro Grind-Ska band from New Jersey. Originally formed in 2001 as a Ska-Core band, laid to rest in 2004; then was ressurected again in October 2007; forming a whole new sound. Electro Grind-Ska, and then later turned into Zombie Techno; grinding dancy club/techno/screamo/electro-punk.

The final recordings with the most recent line-up and sound were released under Plant A Tree Records (US) and Pumpkin Recorsd (UK) in 2009 for the album "Boogie Man Slam Dance".
The most recent line-up dismantled cancelling a US and European record release tour. The album went on to become one of the top 100 selling albums on interpunk.com as well as up to the number 2 slot on downloadpunk.com and top ten in the charts on purevolume. Kirk went on to form Aunt Acid and Dread Disease with Glenn, as well as persue a career in tattooing. Mike went on to become the drummer of the band River City Extension.
