Cairns is the musical project that derived from the custom built instruments of artist Martin Cain. Cairns produces droning ambience, harsh rhythmic structures, and sonic decay that evokes themes present in Martin Cain's artwork; themes of industrialization, tribal mindset and ritual, and the unknown precipice of our future. Cairns is intense, rhythmic, chaotic, hilarious, dissonant, and strangely human.
