Bushpig formed up in '89, as a collaboration between the Thrown Ups and the King Snake Roost. With this early line-up the band released a 7" on Amphetamine Reptile. They reformed in 1990 with an enlarged 9-pieces formation which also featured Martin Bland and Guy Maddison (from the Australian band Bloodloss that Mark Arm would join later that year, after having worked with Bland in the Monkeywrench); the new Bushpig recorded an entire LP on the aussie PGK label. Both releases are now very rare to find since they're both long out of print.
