Graduated in ‘94 at Uni-Rio Conservatory, currently plays bass for brazilian pop artists Frejat (besides whom he works as music director on the TV series "Claro Que É Rock" aired on brazilian cable TV channel Multishow) and Ana Carolina (whose new DVD/live CD "Multishow Ao Vivo Ana Carolina - Dois Quartos" features his bass playing as well as his doubling on acoustic guitar, backing vocals, pandeiro and surdo). Worked as music director on the DVD/CD "Renato Russo - Uma Celebração" (produced by the acclaimed Liminha) leading the all-star house band "Confraria".

Besides leading the compositional project 8VB (with guitarist Chester Harlan), co-leads the small orchestra 11 Cabeças (with saxophonist Henrique Band), leads the "Weather Report" tribute group Weather Forecast, act as rhythm section leader for the big band Orquestra Popular, participates in the quartet led by saxophonist Quito Pedrosa and is a member of composer/trumpetist Julio Barbosa's septet.
