Blowfly a.k.a. Clarence Reid is an energetic Funk / Soul performer. Blowfly is the self-described "world's baddest nigga." He claims to have written the first rap song ever, "Rapp Dirty."

Clarence Reid has been sampled by many prominent rnb and hip hop acts such as DMX, Method Man & Redman, Ice Cube, Scarface, Slim Thug, Jurassic Five, Wu Tang Clan, Old Dirty Bastard, Da Brat, Beyonce and P Diddy.

Blowfly's new album Punk Rock Party contains cover versions of punk songs performed in a funk style. Blowfly changes the lyrics to deal with explicit topics. He is known for his bright gold sequined costume that resembles that of a superhero.

Blowfly is still performing and currently maintains a busy touring schedule.
