The third album titled “RUSSO,” which is named after an alternative persona, is anticipated to be released fourth quarter 2011, and is the first to be released under his new independent label “Black Corona Ent.”
Since releasing two albums, Big Angelus has had songs placed on nationwide top 10 download charts, had both albums, “The Catalog” and “Welcome 2 the Hundred” nominated for best hip-hop album of the year, as well as best hip-hop artist of the year twice at the Urban Music Awards, and placed on other multiple hip-hop charts contending with major, independent and unsigned artists. During the fourth quarter of 2010 spilling into the first quarter of 2011, shortly after releasing the title of his third album, Big Angelus climbed the charts on “mp3,” leading as #1 for 10 consecutive weeks.
Angelus’ ability to touch many with his music hasn't been limited by the passing up of two record deals, with two different record labels, previously in his career, and also hasn't stopped him in the construction of his own empire, as well as his dabbling in the film industry.
