Not to be confused with jazz musician David Benoit Benoit David was the lead singer for the legendary progressive rock group Yes from 2009 to 2012. He was previously vocalist for a Yes cover band named Close To The Edge. David was chosen to fill in for Jon Anderson on the group's 40th anniversary tour in 2008 when the group's founding vocalist could not participate due to health reasons. David was named a full member in 2009 and performed vocals on the 2011 release Fly From Here.
