Bear and Porch is an unlikely blend of folk, country, and rock that goes down easy and smooth — like a cold beer under the sun on a warm country day.

Over a few stiff drinks one night, Andrew Beardsley and Chris Poirier formed Bear and Porch. The initial release chronicles a man's journey through modern life and his yearning for a simpler country lifestyle.

Main vocals and guitar by Andrew, a mariner from Charlestown, Rhode Island. Songwriting by both Andrew and Chris, a native of rural Glocester, Rhode Island. Together they create a unique sound that incorporates acoustic guitar, banjo, blues and rock-and-roll.
