Alex C. - Biography Alex Choub was born in Krasnoyarsk,Russia,Siberia. He grew up in the city area and began playing piano at 6 yrs old. In school, he picked up bass, soloing with the dance band. He then attended the School of Music in Krasnojarsk, and played in the Krasnojarsk Philharmonic. In the mid '80s wanting to do more live playing,Alex created Amalgama, heavy-punk band and through the 1980's he played bass on many albums.
