Baligh Abdulhamid Hamdy Morsy was born in October7 1932 in Shobra Naighbor in Cairo. He was Playing lute (Oud) fluently when he was Nine. when he was 12 He tried

to join with Fua'ad's first Institute but him being young prevented him. He joint shobra's High school at the same time he was studying

Musical Basics at AbdulHafidh Emam for Eastern Music School. After that he learnt more about Arabian Muwashahat from the master Darwish Al Hareery

Baligh Joint Law Collage at the same time he Joint Fua'ad's first Institute

(Araian Music Institute now). Mr.Mohammad Hasan al shoja'ey the counselor of Egyptian radio broadcasting at that time convinced

Baligh to take Singing Seriously, so he recorded 4 songs for the Radio broadcasting

but He was more into Composing so he Composed two songs for Faida Kamil (lih laa) and (lih fatny lih) then

(ma tehebbnish belshakli da) for Faiza Ahmad. His relationship with the great singer Mohammad Fawzy got strong which gave him the chance to

Compose for the Best singers at that time

Depended on his Own Company.
