Baechigi(배치기) is an acclaimed Korean hiphop artist, composed of Moo-woong (Zenio7) and Tak(Taktak36). They, along with two other friends, Psyops and Peda, started off as an underground group of four high school students in Kang-dong-gu in Seoul City in 1999. They had been singing in numerous underground clubs until they met MC Sniper, one of the leading hiphop artists in Korea, who later became the head of the well-known clan of Buddha Baby. As MC Sniper released his first album in 2002, Baechigi cooperated in various performances, gaining wide popularity. After 4 years of training and stage experience, MC Sniper decided to produce Baechigi's 1st album, Baechigi/Giant, which gained a great public favor. They have relased their second album called Maidongpooong(마이동풍)in September, 2006, with the 1st single as Maidongpoong and currently, Hyunguaneulyulmyoen(현관을열면) has been announced to be their 2nd single of the album. On December 23rd and 24th at Samsung-dong, Buddha Baby concert is being held.
