Born Scott Hoffman on September 1, 1976, Babydaddy is the bearded multi-instrumentalist and lyricist for the American glam rock band, Scissor Sisters. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, where he grew up as an American Jew and thanked his parents "for telling me I wasn't fat, just 'husky.' " Scott went to kindergarten with the producer of the American radio show NPR All Things Considered, Alison McAdam, and has since described his youth as having been spent as "a rock-and-roll kid."
