Anti was born in Germany. Her first violin lessons took place in the Zagreb in the former Yugoslavia (today the capital of Croatia). Her classical training lasted ten years. Jazz training followed, among others by Reginald Workman (John Coltrane's former bass player).
Anti has a yearlong experience playing traditional Hungarian music and was one of the first to introduce this music in Germany with the trio Nomad.
She composed music for different dance companies and theatre productions. She plays and sings in Csókolom, the Cuban-styled salsa band Cha-Charanga, won an important German musical award (the "Deutscher Folkförderpreis") with her Berlin Balkan/jazz trio Hora Colora, wrote music for the well-known Berlin dance company "Tolada" and performed with them. Her new Balkan-fusion trio Allegro Barbaro gets a lot of attention. She plays her violin also in the Amsterdam-based Cuban String Quintet Violatina.
In New York, Amsterdam and Paris Anti performed with poets and improvises to "the spoken word". She was musical director and performer in a number of dance performances with Mati Elias from Israel (Spring Dance Festival, Netherlands).
Anti tours a lot. With Csókolom she toured the Bay Area around San Francisco in 1998 and Australia twice (Womad and Port Fairy).
