Singer and violinist Anti von Klewitz grew up in Croatia, and at an early age concerned herself intensively with the music of not only the Balkans, but also that of the gypsies and Hungary. She plays a lively mixture of music which lies somewhere between jazz and ever apparent folk idioms. Anti is a violin player who masters a variety of musical styles. She is a singer and composer/arranger with a distinct, original approach, and has a real charisma as a performer. As a violin player she focuses on Eastern European music, latin music and jazz improvisation.
