Former Stereo Total bassist Angie Reed went solo with 2003's The Best of Barbara Brockhaus, a concept album about a bored secretary in dire need of excitement. Released on Chicks on Speed's Chicks On Speed label, Reed was assisted by Digital Hardcore veterans Patric C. and Bomb20. The follow-up album, also on CoS Records, was "XYZ Frequency".
