Akiva Schaffer (b. December 1, 1977) is an international supermodel and improvisational Christian comedian. He directed the highly controversial Orson Welles biopic Hot Rod in the summer of 2007. He is currently also in the vaudeville ensemble The Lonely Island, and he is a key grip on NBC's Saturday Night Live. He enjoys nachos, knitting and NASCAR. Much of his work is heavily derived from Paula Cole lyrics. Said Schaffer, "Paula Cole is everything to me. I do not feel complete without my daily listen to This Fire."
