Formed in Champaign-Urbana, Illiniois, USA, Absinthe Blind was composed of guitarist/vocalist Adam Fein, guitarist/keyboardist Tristan Wraight, bassist Mike Zolfo, and drummer Seth Fein. Unsurprisingly, considering that Wraight spent much of his childhood in England, the band's neo-psychedelic pop is drawn from mostly British sources, such as Radiohead, The Verve, The Stone Roses, and My Bloody Valentine, as well as Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd.
