Psy (싸이, born December 31, 1977) is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and rapper signed to YG Entertainment since 2010. He is well known in Korea for his humorous performance style, often imitating other (particularly female) singers. No wonder his hit "Performer" hit #1 in the charts in 2006.

When Psy first debuted, he was more of a "hard core" rapper. Like many other hip-hop oriented singers, Psy has evolved into a pop style. Besides doing his own music, Psy has also written many songs for other singers, most notably he helped launched the career of singer Lee Seung Ki. Lee's well known debut songs "Because You are my Woman" and "Delete" were both written by Psy, showing us that he is also capable in writing good ballads.
