“Televizor” can be considered as one of the influential Russian neo-romanticism and post-punk bands. Formed in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in 1984 they have been active ever since, gaining their fame largely due to the politically controversial lyrics and kinky vocals. As of 2012, they are actively recording and touring.
