In conjunction with Pharrell’s upcoming album G I R L being available to stream off iTunes a week before its release, music fans got the chance to hear the famed producer’s new track with collaborators and friends Daft Punk. The track, “Gust Of Wind”, is exactly what’d you’d expect from the trio: a disco-tinged, robotic-chorused song of epic proportions.

Yep, it could have been a b-side to a track off Random Access Memories, Daft Punk’s latest record that Pharrell helped produce and was featured on, and the threesome is definitely a winning combo. With the lyrics in the song’s chorus going “When I open the window / I wanna hug you / Cause you remind me of the air“, it’s a beautiful ode to a loved one masked in pure funk production.

Pharrell’s G I R L drops on Tuesday, March 4th, with other notable collaborators like Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys also lending their vocals to the album.
