TayTay’s back, Swifties! After working on her follow-up record to 2012’s best-selling Red, Taylor Swift held a live web-stream via Yahoo! on August 18th to announce the name of her upcoming LP. Titled 1989, after her birth year, the album will be out on October 27th, and the first single has been dubbed “Shake It Off.”

Boasting lyrics about not caring what people think — which is so very Taylor Swift — the country-turned-pop star says in her verse I go on too many dates, but I can’t make them stay / At least that’s what people say, that’s what people say. But she then fires back with the pre-chorus I keep cruising, can’t stop, won’t stop moving / It’s like I got this music in my body and it’s gonna be alright before calling out the players and haters in her chorus. You go, girl!

The song’s music video also dropped, and it features Taylor taking on many dance personas (from ballet to breakdancing!). It totally pokes fun at Taylor and her persona.
