Coldplay’s ‘Ghost Stories’ Remains Atop Billboard 200

News

Coldplay fans unite! The UK-based rock band has taken the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart this week, once again, with their latest LP Ghost Stories. The record, spawning hits like “Magic” and “A Sky Full Of Stars“, has been a great success for the ever-popular group, with nearly 500,000 copies sold since its early May release.

Who’s got the no.2 slot on the Billboard 200? Country singer Brantley Gilbert’s new release Just As I Am, while Mariah Carey’s Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse snags the #3 spot. And coming in at number 4 is Disney’s Frozen soundtrack, which is still going strong with the success of the song “Let It Go“.

Rounding out the top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart is pop newcomer Austin Mahone’s The Secret, and while it just may be an EP, fans are going crazy for the teen singer. What new album are you looking forward to picking up?
