Lana Del Rel Reveals Release Date For ‘Ultraviolence’

News

After much speculation that tortured chanteuse Lana Del Rey’s sophomore record Ultraviolence was due out in May, it turns out that fans of LDR’s beautifully-tragic tunes will have to wait a little longer. The singer revealed via Twitter that her highly-anticipated record is coming June 16th, which leaves about a month for her following to wait for the Dan Auerbach-produced release.

Ultraviolence‘s first single, “West Coast”, is a solid preview of what’s to come off LDR’s new collection of songs. The album’s track list carries on the broken-hearted party-girl image that Lana has built up for herself, with titles like “Cruel World” and “The Other Woman” painting a picture of the downtrodden crooner that’s everybody’s guilty pleasure.
