Following the current trend where iTunes streams a highly-anticipated album a week before its release, Britney Spears is the latest artist to jump on board. Her eighth studio album, Britney Jean, is said to be her most personal yet, and it’s available to listen to before its December 3rd release via iTunes.
Starting off with the out-of-this-world track “Alien”, Britney enlisted the help of her friend will.i.am as well as master pop songwriter Sia to help pen songs for the new record. With hits like “Work B**ch” and “Perfume”—which Britney calls one of her most personal songs to date—already on heavy rotation with Britney fans, Britney Jean is already gearing up to be a huge pop hit.
Other standout tracks off the album are “Body Ache”, a clear dance-club banger, as well as the adorable duet for “Chillin’ With You” featuring BritBrit’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears. “Brightest Morning Star” is also a highlight.
