Nation’s Nightlife: A Bermuda Triangle Of Live Music

On The Scene

Today we form a Bermuda Triangle of music with Free MP3’s from Chris Cappello (playing tonight in Connecticut), Paradise Fears (doing the deal in Minneapolis) and a pair from Great Deceivers and Yip-Yip (sharing a bill in Orlando).

Chris Cappello

Tonight, longtime loner Chris Cappello leaves the bedroom where he spent his youth playing guitar instead of making friends for the social environs of Hamden, Connecticut’s The Space. That’s where he’ll bring his songs of sad, sadder and saddest to quadruple bill for all ages starting at 7PM. He’ll be joining Circle Circle and Spraynard in support of Laura Stevenson and the Cans.

Paradise Fears

On June 14, 2010, six high school students from Vermillion, South Dakota decided to forego college for a career in rock and roll. Smart move for Paradise Fears who released their EP, Make Them Believe, just eight months later. With a pair of national tours behind them (totaling 32 states), they’re old hands at being on the road. Tonight, they’re in Minneapolis at the Varsity Theater, sharing the bill with The Summer Set, He Is We and Days Difference in support of the Cab.

Great Deceivers

Will’s Pub in Orlando is the epicenter of Florida rock and roll tonight as five band’s take the stage for NK Presents’ One Year Anniversary. Along with Abuse, Arc and Panther and Basements of Florida, experimental electronica act Yip-Yip will bring high weirdness to the proceedings along with locals Great Deceivers.
