Label of the Week – BPitch Control

Label of the Week

Founded by influential electronic musician/producer Ellen Allien over 12 years ago, BPitch Control has become a powerhouse of the club scene in Berlin. Originating as a techno infused label, BPitch Control refused to limit itself to a sole genre, instead opting to embrace and explore a variety of electronic types.

Despite boasting worldwide recognition in the electronic scene and establishing artists such as Apparat, Modeselektor and Telefon Tel Aviv, BPitch Control has retained a sense of underground status by sticking true to its principles of releasing on the grounds of artistic merit above all else.

The label has chosen a few select tracks to giveaway, check them out below!

Aérea Negrot – Love You From The Brain

Flamboyant Venezuelan-born, Berlin-based Aérea Negrot’s voice can kill. Her music is a blend of electronica, techno, cabaret and pop.  Best known for her work with Hercules & the Love Affair, she has recently released her debut album titled ‘Arabxilla’ on BPitch Control.
