Label of the Week: Dead Oceans

Label of the Week

Despite having a relatively small roster, Dead Oceans boast an impressive array of talent ranging from folk to indie rock and experimental. They were formed in 2007 and are proud of “Fostering a diverse stable of sound-creators”.

These diverse sound-creators include acoustic solo men The Tallest Man On Earth and Phosphorescent, whilst A Place To Bury Strangers bring the noise with their experimental rock.

The label’s forward thinking approach is shown by their faith in acts such as indie rockers Bishop Allen, who released an EP every month for twelve months.
