Portishead, Tricky and Massive Attack all came to define Bristol in the 90’s, turning a British city once known for being a slavery port into a thriving centre of underground culture.
The stomping ground of notorious graffiti artist Banksy and the source of some of the 00’s finest British comedy, Bristol has remained a musical mecca. Venues The Academy, The Thekla and The Fleece draw in the crowds from neighboring West country towns, showcasing the finest local and international talent.
