Label Of The Week: Victory Records

Label of the Week

Originally dealing with bands in the hardcore punk and straight-edge scenes in America in the early ’90s, Victory Records has since branched out and is releasing music by bands in genres such as metal, alternative, and electronic.

Based in Chicago, the label has overseen some high-profile releases. Hawthorne HeightsThe Silence In Black And White and Taking Back Sunday‘s Tell All Your Friends, for instance, have each gone on to sell more than 250,000 copies.

Elsewhere, Victory has released music by progressive metal band Between The Buried And Me, emo veterans Thursday and current pop punk sensations A Day To Remember.

Below are three bands that are part of the new school Victory crowd. They have kindly given us a track to give away as a free download – make sure to check them out.
