Sol Republic Headphones was launched this week by Kevin Lee, the son of Monster Cable founder Noel Lee. Their earbud and over-ear headphones deliver high quality sound and durability at an affordable price.
In addition to being the son of the founder of one of the most famous audio equipment companies, Kevin Lee is also credited with helping create the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones at Monster.
Now he’s gone solo on his own venture – Sol, which stands for Soundtack of Life – who’s purpose is to make good quality headphones available to everyone. The Tracks headphone (pictured above) are also notable for their durability – the headband is made out of a new polymer called Flextech, which the company says is virtually indestructible.
Sol also has a line of earbuds, called Amps. The two models will be available in stores by the end of the month.
